Window

An area on the screen that represents a running program.

Tool Bar

A row of icons that are used to activate functions in the OS.

Title Bar

A label at the top of every window. It contains the name of the program or document.

Taskbar

A display that lets you monitor and launch applications while doing other things on the computer.

Scroll Bar

A tool that allows the user to move text or other data up, down, left or right on the computer screen.

Restore

To bring back a closed or minimized window.

Pointing Device

A device that you move to highlight and select objects on a computer screen.
